Refund Policy
Effective Date: 13th April 2026
This Refund Policy explains when refunds, cancellations, credits, or other remedies may apply to purchases made for Ballbridge, a platform operated by BALLBUSINESS LTD.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
1. Who We Are
Ballbridge Technologies trading as BallBridge, is a sports SaaS product that offers various services including but not limited to legal, agency, branding and business services
Registered office: Ballbusiness Ltd, Concourse Way, Acero Building, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, S1 2BJ
Contact: [email protected]
2. What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to purchases made directly through Ballbridge, including:
- subscriptions and paid plans
- Ball Credits
- one-off digital features or paid platform tools
- custom or expert-led services purchased through the platform
- onboarding or implementation services
- legal review, drafting support, or other specialist support made available through Ballbridge
- any other digital or service-based offering sold directly by us through Ballbridge
If a separate order form, proposal, enterprise agreement, or service-specific agreement applies, that document will take priority to the extent of any inconsistency.
3. Consumer Rights and Business Users
Ballbridge may be used by both consumers and business users.
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under applicable law, including cancellation rights and remedies where digital content or services are faulty, misdescribed, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
If you are using Ballbridge for business purposes, refunds are available only as set out in this policy, in any separate commercial agreement, or where the law requires otherwise.
4. Subscriptions and Paid Plans
If you purchase a monthly or annual Ballbridge subscription:
- you may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing date
- cancellation will usually stop the next renewal charge
- cancellation does not usually entitle you to a refund for the current billing period once access has started, unless the law requires otherwise or we agree otherwise in writing
If you are a consumer and you purchase a subscription online, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period starting from the day after the contract is entered into.
However, where:
- you ask for the service to begin during that 14-day period, and
- we begin supplying the service during that period,
we may deduct a fair and proportionate amount for the part of the service already supplied before cancellation.
Where a plan includes immediate access to digital features, dashboards, templates, or downloadable materials, your cancellation rights may also be affected once digital supply begins in the manner described below.
5. Digital Features, Downloads, and Immediate Access
Some Ballbridge purchases involve digital content or digital functionality supplied immediately after payment, including:
- premium templates
- downloadable documents
- digital tools
- platform resources
- feature unlocks
- gated libraries
- AI-assisted or automated outputs delivered instantly
If, at checkout, you request immediate access and acknowledge that supply starts straight away, you will usually lose the right to cancel that digital content once supply begins.
For the purpose of this policy, supply begins when the content or feature is made available to you, including where you:
- access the paid area
- open or use the feature
- download the file
- generate the output
- unlock the relevant functionality
6. Ball Credits
Ball Credits are prepaid credits that may be used within Ballbridge for eligible features, services, reviews, or support.
Unless we state otherwise in writing:
- purchased Ball Credits are non-refundable once any portion has been used, redeemed, allocated, or applied
- if you buy Ball Credits and none of them have been used, you may request a refund within 14 days if you are a consumer and no immediate-use waiver applies
- where only part of a credit purchase has been used during a valid cancellation period, any refund will be assessed by reference to the unused portion and any services already supplied
- promotional, bonus, referral, or complimentary credits are not refundable, transferable for cash, or exchangeable for money
If credits have been used to start work on a service request, expert review, or custom deliverable, the relevant amount will be treated as used even if the final output has not yet been fully delivered at the time of cancellation.
7. Expert Reviews, Legal Support, and Custom Services
Some Ballbridge purchases may involve custom work, expert-led review, legal support, drafting support, advisory work, CV creation, player materials, deal-tracking support, or other human-assisted services.
For these services:
- if you cancel before work starts, you may be entitled to a full refund
- if you ask us to begin work within the 14-day period and we begin work, we may deduct a fair and proportionate amount for the work already carried out
- once a custom service has been substantially performed, completed, delivered, or sent for review, refunds will not usually be available unless required by law or where we agree otherwise
Where a service depends on information, documents, approvals, or instructions from you, delays caused by missing or inaccurate information from you do not by themselves create a refund right.
8. Onboarding, Setup, and Implementation Services
If your Ballbridge package includes onboarding, setup help, workspace configuration, migration support, or implementation assistance:
- these are treated as service elements
- if the work has started, any refund may be reduced to reflect the portion already completed
- if the work has been completed, that part is non-refundable except where required by law
9. Faulty, Misdescribed, or Unsatisfactory Services
If Ballbridge digital content, features, or services are faulty, materially misdescribed, unavailable in a way that breaches what was promised, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill, please contact us promptly.
Where appropriate, we may offer one or more of the following:
- correction of the issue
- re-performance of the service
- replacement access
- account credit
- a price reduction
- a full or partial refund
Any remedy will depend on the nature of the issue, the part affected, and what the law requires.
10. No Refund for Change of Mind After Use
Unless the law says otherwise, refunds are not usually available where:
- you simply change your mind after using the platform
- digital content or paid features have already been accessed or used
- credits have already been redeemed or allocated
- a subscription period has already started and been used
- custom work has already begun or been delivered
- the issue relates to your own device, browser, connectivity, third-party software, or failure to follow instructions, rather than a defect in Ballbridge itself
11. Free Trials, Beta Access, and Promotional Offers
Where we offer free trials, test access, discounted onboarding, founder pricing, or beta access:
- any special refund position stated in the offer terms will apply
- promotional credits or free access have no cash value
- we may withdraw or amend a promotional offer where permitted by law and the relevant offer terms
12. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation, refund, or review, email [email protected] with:
- your full name
- the email address linked to your Ballbridge account
- proof of purchase or invoice number
- the subscription, credits, or service purchased
- the reason for your request
- any relevant screenshots or supporting material
We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to review the request.
13. How Refunds Are Paid
Where a refund is approved, we will usually issue it to the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
Where a consumer is entitled to a refund, we aim to process it without undue delay and, where applicable, within 14 days of confirming that the refund is due. The same general rule applies under the Consumer Rights Act for digital-content refunds. (Legislation.gov.uk)
We do not charge a refund processing fee for refunds that are legally due.
14. Chargebacks and Abuse
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to try to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend access to Ballbridge while the matter is reviewed.
We may refuse refund requests where we reasonably believe there has been:
- misuse of the platform
- abuse of credits
- unauthorised sharing
- fraudulent activity
- repeated bad-faith refund behaviour
This does not affect any rights you may have under law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published at the time of purchase will usually apply to that purchase unless the law requires otherwise.
